Lia visited me after several dress fittings at different bridal boutiques, where she just couldn’t find the “perfect” dress. She wanted a simple modern shape and was keen to wear a jumpsuit for her big day. I was super excited about this commission, who wouldn’t be having the chance to make a bridal jumpsuit.
We decided the best fabric to use would be heavy crepe silk, which I underlined in silk georgette and fully lined in silk habotai. The bodice was structured using hidden boning and bust cups to give a lovely smooth silhouette. It was amazing working with Lia on her bridal jumpsuit and veil, and I think the results are stunning!
The chapel-length veil was made using the softest silk feel tulle, gathered onto a silver comb.
